Hard Ryde's festival is ready to go! We are excited to start talking about it !~ First up please tune in to County FM 99.3 on Tuesday April 28th  for an hour of tunes both live and recorded! We will be in the studio and ready to have some fun!

A New Year! 

2015 is going to be an amazing year for the sound of Hard Ryde! We bid farewell to Luke Puckrin who wanted to take a bit of a break for many reasons. Luke will be making some appearances here and there with us, but for now we wish him the best! We are excited to bring 2 fantastic players from the Ottawa Valley on board !  Gilles Leclerc on Mandolin and Stuart Rutherford on Dobro. Will Meadows has also taken over the banjo spot ! Lots of work to be done but we can't wait for you to hear this sound! Catch us when ya can!

Exciting times! 

We just got back from attending the Central Canadian Bluegrass Awards! Rich Koop took home the honor of Bass Player of the Year ! Melissa Sherman won again for Composer of the Year! Will Meadows has been inducted into the Honor Roll for Mandolin and is now off to a new adventure! BANJO! Pictures and videos are posted on our Facebook for you to see! What A Year! 

We are winding down and busy working on some new music and some major changes! Change is good right? We have some exciting news that is just not ready to share quite yet! But standby! Thanks for all that supported us in 2014 ! We have quite a schedule already for 2015 and will post that shortly! 

2013 Awards! 

We had an incredible time at The Central Canadian Bluegrass Awards this past weekend. We congratulate all the winners! But for us, we are proud to announce we recieved awards for the following:  Luke- Banjo player of the year, Will- Mandolin Player of the year and Melissa- Composer of the year! The one I can truely say was the most emotional was sharing in the win for "A Part of Me" as recording of the year. Carol graciously took the stage, joined by everyone who had a part in it. We were greeted with a standing ovation and lots of tears! This project has changed who we are as a band. Thank you Carol for including us on your journey!

CCBA Nominations! 

The CCBA Award Nominations are out! We are nominated for the following categories! Rich Koop-Bass Player, Will Meadows-Mandolin Player, Shawn Kellett-FIddle Player,Luke Puckrin- Banjo Player, Melissa Sherman- Composer and our project we did with Carol Simpson " A Part of Me" is up for recording of the year! Thanks to all our peers who nominated us!
